1.- Broil the tomatoes, peel them and take out the seeds. Blend them with 2 cups of water and set aside the mixture.
2.- Heat some oil and fry slightly the onion and garlic until they are transparent.
3.- Add the chicken and when it is slightly brown, add the nopal leaves, laurel, tomato mixture, pepper and salt or broth. Cook until it begins to boil.
4.- Add 1 ¼ liters of water, epazote and "pasilla" pepper and cook until the chicken is well cooked.
Serve with cheese.
